Sunday Night Dinner

We decided to have breakfast for dinner tonight so we made crepes! Everyone joined in on the fun and made sure we had all the right fixings. No one wanted pictures as we had just finished our afternoon Sunday naps.

Ava was running to grab drink for the family and she asked if we wanted Hick juice. Sure, who doesn't want that? Well, she came back with Hi-C. I was disappointed. 11/4/12

I was in Primary watching Gale teach when a 6 year old boy (Carson) kept raising his hand and answering all the questions. Gale responded with "Thanks Carson for your answers, I love you!" he responded with, "I already knew that!"

My New Favorite Things

I love Postum! It is incredible, especially if you add in some good creamer, almost as good as ooey gooey brownies and ice cream without the 10,000 calories
I'm having a fascination with Bees since I read "Robbing the Bees". I think I need more land so I can own a hive and produce my own honey. Met the son of a bee keeper this weekend so I already have my in! 11/04/07

Life Lessons Learned

What I learned on February 3rd, 2008. I have to laugh because I swear I learn more than what I post on my blog. I guess I just put special thoughts. I am reading the Bible this year for my own personal reading and I was amazed once again at the story of Joseph. As I neared the end of the story when he reveals himself to his brothers I was struck by his response to his brothers. When they feel horrible for what they did to him Joseph's response was, "It was God who put me here" He had no anger towards them after all that they did to him and caused him to endure. Wow! that is incredible to see God's hand in all things

What I learned on Oct. 6th, 2007 - (Situation: I'm in Cannes, France during Mipcom Jr.) My thoughts: It is better to have struggled and reached for a dream and lived in this unrealized state than to partake of unearned, unwanted, un-struggled for success. The joy is not the same.

What I learned on Sept 24th, 2007 - My thoughts: Negativity is the root of much unhappiness. Fear, worry, insecurities all bring to fruition that which a person most runs from. To come from a place of happiness, trust, forgiveness and love is to welcome into one's life a sense of peace and destiny. To trust that they as an individual will fulfill the measure of their creation. -ckb
